The Malaysian Association of Tour & Travel Agents (MATTA) announced the event will be held September 2-4, 2022 at the WTC Kuala Lumpur.
There is optimism that both domestic and foreign tourists will begin booking trips to Malaysia as early as April 1, 2022, when the country’s borders are officially open to visitors.
Merchantrade Asia Sdn Bhd, making their 7th appearance in MATTA Fair since 2017, has been named the Official Money Changer for the 51st edition of the trade show.
This cooperation with Merchantrade Asia shows their strong belief in MATTA Fair in promoting a wide array of services and products, especially their multi-currency payment solutions.
Kedah, Sarawak, Sabah, Terengganu, Pahang, Selangor, Perak, Melaka, and Putrajaya all participated in this MATTA Fair. Tourism Malaysia has 36 booths, followed by Korea, Turkey, Taiwan, Japan, Philippines, Taipei, Tohoku, and Tokyo.
MATTA believes that exhibitors, sponsors, and state and national tourist organisations will help the Fair succeed and boost domestic and inbound tourism in our country.
Admission is free for the MATTA fair and it starts from 10am-9pm for the three days, Friday to Sunday.
The usage of public transportation, such as the LRT and e-hailing services, is strongly recommended to tourists.
