The now dilapidated Shah Alam Stadium will be demolished to make room for this massive 200-acre project, initially known as the Selangor Sports Complex (KSS).Also being torn down is the Malawati Indoor Stadium.
A modern stadium that can hold between 35,000 and 45,000 people will be built. It will have a fixed sky-light roof, a removable pitch, and plenty of parking.
The project will also solve the flooding problem that has been plaguing the area for years. The stadium will be raised to the nearby road level.
The public was requested to send their suggestions or comments about the project to kssa.maklumbalas@gmail.com.
