Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the Insurans Hayat Selangor (Insan) general insurance scheme will cover workers in high-risk sectors. High-risk young workers are also covered. Same for housewives and nursing home residents. The welfare of workers in e-hailing, construction or plantation sectors will be guaranteed through the free insurance scheme, with premiums fully borne by the state government This is because Pakatan Harapan (PH) is determined to leave nobody behind, he stated at the PKR Mega Rapat Ceramah last night.
The Insurans Hayat Selangor cover everyone ages 30 days old up to 8o years old with up to RM10,000 and an estimated RM60 billion in total protection.
The only criteria for this schema is you must be either being born in Selangor or being a registered voter in the state. Insan registration begins 1 October 2022.
