Mark your calendars for an inspiring morning at Taman Rimba Kiara @ TTDI on 19 April 2025, as Friends of Bukit Kiara (FoBK) presents “Our Power, Our Planet”—a vibrant Earth Day celebration filled with community spirit and environmental action.
Running from 7:30 AM to 12 PM, the event features public plogging, nature talks, kid-friendly activities, and an eco-market. A highlight of the day will be the exclusive unveiling of Bukit Kiara’s 9th firefly species, officiated by YB Hannah Yeoh, Member of Parliament for Segambut, alongside environmental experts.
Participants can look forward to insightful sessions with speakers from Macaranga, Sunway University, Jejak Liar, and FoBK, covering topics from environmental journalism to herpetofauna and youth-led conservation.
