MBPJ & Lions Club Petaling Jaya are bringing back a meaningful annual event – the “15th Blind Leading the Blind Annual Charity Walk 2025”!
Date: 27 April 2024
Venue: Laman MBPJ, Jalan Yong Shook Lin, PJ
In this unique event, nearly 3,000 participants will walk 3KM in pairs – one person will be blindfolded while the other acts as their ‘eyes’. Then, they’ll switch roles.
The goal? To help participants understand and experience the challenges faced by those who are visually impaired.
Funds raised will go towards eye treatment and cataract surgeries for those in need.

Malaysian Association for the Blind (MAB)
University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC)
The press conference was attended by Deputy Mayor, YBrs. Tuan Aznan bin Hj. Hassan.
We hope this event raises greater awareness about eye care and encourages support for the less fortunate.
