Starting from February 4–6, KTM Komuter will provide non-stop train service for three days and two nights to Batu Caves in preparation for Thaipusam.
Both the Pelabuhan Klang-Batu Caves and Sungai Gadut-Batu Caves lines will get the additional services.
During the same time period, 26 more stations will also be in operation for 24 hours. Thaipusam occurs on February 5, and 300 KTM employees will ensure smooth operation.
Stations that will operate around the clock include Batu Caves, Sungai Gadut, Senawang, Taman Wahyu, Kampung Batu, Batu Kentonmen, Sentul, Bank Negara, Kuala Lumpur, KL Sentral, Seremban, Nilai, Kajang, Bandar Tasek Selatan, Shah Alam, Pelabuhan Klang and Klang.
The government requires all passengers to wear masks when using the services.
Due to the fact that KTM Komuter is now cashless, you must have either a Touch n Go card or a Komuter Link card, both of which costs RM5 (just for the card). Children under the age of 12, elderly citizens, and those with disabilities can purchase tickets at a discounted rate.
