The Ministry of Education (MOE) has reported that over 23,000 book vouchers have been redeemed by students and pupils using the DELIMa (Digital Educational Learning Initiative Malaysia) application as of today. These vouchers are part of an initiative announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, which provides RM50 and RM100 book vouchers to students in various educational institutions, including those in Year Four and above, secondary school students, students of higher education institutions, and teacher education institutes.
The redemption and use period for these vouchers extends from May 31 to December 31, 2024. Students need not worry about running out of time to redeem their vouchers and access valuable reading materials. This initiative aims to foster a knowledgeable, critical-thinking, and visionary generation by benefiting all pupils and students across educational institutions under the ministry.
