On August 13 and 14, the Selangor government will hold free health screenings in three state constituencies.

Selangor Saring will be held at Dewan Rozel MBSA, Seksyen U6 (Kota Damansara) on Saturday and Dewan Rafflesia MBSA (Kota Anggerik) and Dewan Teratai Batu 17 Rawang on Sunday (Rawang).

Dr. Siti Mariah Mahmud, state executive councillor for public health, said Selangor Screening encourages the public to be health-conscious and take preventative action.
Everyone is aware that living costs are going up. Include healthcare costs. This endeavor has received state financing and effort.

The state government has set aside RM3.4 million in its budget to ensure the program’s success, which would help 39,000 people, especially those with a family medical history, who are obese and living an unhealthy lifestyle.

The programme through September 4 comprises physical screening, blood and urine testing, eye, cervical and breast cancer, and colorectal and prostate blood tests.
