Bukit Gasing assemblyman Rajiv Rishyakaran’s office has 1,000 units of the containers that come in two sizes. To reduce plastic waste, a Selangor assemblyman is offering RM10 drink containers with a RM10 voucher. The goal is to urge people to avoid using single-use plastic to transport their drinks. People who use these containers can save RM1 on their drinks at eight participating restaurants.
The eight restaurants that are part of this campaign are
- Bake and Brew
- Nora’s Cottage Kitchen
- Ajmeer Curry House (Petaling Jaya New Town)
- Xing Loong Restaurant (Section 17)
- Kedai Minuman Harun (Gerai Makan Section 8)
- Stall No.32 (Selera Jaya 223)
- Makan Chanel (Section 14)
- Restaurant Al Safuan (3 Two Square).
